From At-Risk to Baptized

KoDoMo Cafe Impact

KoDoMo Cafe is an afterschool program for at risk kids. They receive meals, companionship, role models, homework help, games, and the Gospel / Bible studies. During Christmas we saw 9 baptisms! Some of the kids are emerging as leaders to share the Gospel and lead Bible studies with other kids starting replication and transformed lives.

Shu's Story

About 10 years ago, while in fourth grade, Shu (name changed for privacy reasons), joined KoDoMo Cafe. He became emotionally unstable after his mother remarried and he lost his place at home. Through KoDoMo Café activity, he encountered with Jesus and accepted Him as Lord and Savior. He was later baptized and comes back to help KoDoMo Cafe as a volunteer on an irregular basis.
